To our ESP family,
With new developments almost hourly regarding the Corona pandemic, at ESP we are dedicated to following our local, state and federal recommendations.
For now, classes will be continuing as normal.
We will remain open in line with the local schools - until advised otherwise by the authorities.
We are implementing some additional measures to try and keep our physie space safe and healthy in every way we can.
I know our juniors love to hug us (the teachers) and each other and I know they will all be very excited to see Jacinta back tomorrow, however we must try to minimise contact during classes at this time.
Please make sure the juniors bring their own water bottles - labelled with their name.
We ask that everyone please wash their hands in the bathroom on their way in and out of class.
Our teachers are reminding students to cover their mouth with their elbow if they sneeze or cough, and for students to keep their hands away from their mouth, nose and eyes. If they use a tissue, throw it straight into the bin.
Teachers have been advised to minimise physical interactions like hi-fives etc. and to try to avoid any choreography that involves partner work.
We are also reminding parents to please keep your children at home if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms. Better to rest at home if unsure.
And most importantly notify me immediately if your child is diagnosed with COVID- 19 or has been in contact with someone who is.
If we do have to suspend classes we are working on some online options with the syllabus being videoed each week to keep kids active at home and we will keep you updated.
We will keep everyone notified of any changes to our plans, as they develop according to advice and instruction from the government and health authorities.
Sending out positive vibes to all our ESP family. Let's keep calm and keep supporting each other.
